Welcome back, everyone! This month, I’m interviewing my good friend, J.Kenner/Julie Kenner! Julie and I have been friends for years and get together as often as our schedules permit. I hope you enjoy the interview.

Name a movie you’ve seen at least five times and why it’s a favorite.

Julie: SO many! I’m a big re-watcher. Because I’m a rule-breaker, I’m not gonna pick just one. So, here we go:

Star Wars (the original) and Empire Strikes Back: Why? Han Solo for one, but beyond that I was the perfect age when it came out and the classic hero’s journey storytelling just blew me away. And I want a lightsaber.

Casablanca – because it’s amazing and there’s so much going on and the story telling is brilliant.

The Cutting Edge – because ice skating + romance = awesomeness

Raiders of the Lost Ark – because Indiana Jones, love story, action, adventure, fabulous.

It’s a Wonderful Life – because I cry at the end Every. Single. Time.

Caffeine of choice: tea, coffee, or soda?

Julie: Coffee. Ideally a venti nonfat latte

Where is your bucket-list vacation?

Julie: Love traveling, so many, many choices. I’m gonna have to go with an Alaska cruise

What is something you cherish for its sentimental value?

Julie: My husband wrote a “script” after our first date (no, it’s not X-rated or even NC-17!) It’s one page, very sweet, and it’s now framed in my office!

What's your next release?

Julie:  I have two in March!
