FAQ's | Meet the Brethren

Frequently Asked Questions:
Question: I can’t find any of your Wicked Lovers books available as an eBook outside North America. Where can I buy one?
Answer: My publisher, Penguin, and I have mutually agreed to amend my previous contracts to allow them rights to digitally distribute the Wicked Lovers titles in the English language in those countries. I’m working through this currently and hope to have news soon.
Question: Why can’t I find some of your upcoming works available for pre-order yet?
Answer: Works through a traditional publisher are typically uploaded to all the online bookstores 4-6 months in advance. My re-released and self-published titles won’t be available to order until the day they are released. At this point, none of the stores’ systems accommodate self-published pre-orders, but Amazon says that day is coming. Until then, the day that a new self-published book goes live, I’ll list the links on my website, Facebook and Twitter.
Question: Is your book available in Kindle/Sony/Nook/Print/Other format?
Answer: If I am aware of a book being available in any particular format, I do my best to link it from my page for easy access. If it’s not there, it’s because I haven’t found it/been made aware of it.
Question: Will you be writing a book about Blade and Lucia from STRIP SEARCH?
Answer: Look for a novella about them in the HOT IN HADCUFFS anthology, scheduled to release in July 2012!
Question: Will you be writing a book about Tyler?
Answer: Yes! MINE TO HOLD is scheduled to release June 5, 2012.
Question: Will you be writing a book about Xander?
Answer: Yes! OURS TO LOVE is scheduled to release January 1, 2013.
Question: When will Fated be released in print?
Answer: Probably never. It’s short length would make a print volume cost prohibitive for me to produce and for you to purchase. It’s short enough for most to read on a computer via PDF. If you really prefer to read things in print, I’ve talked to some readers who have printed the story out at home.
Q: Why did you decide to self-publish the rest of the Doomsday Brethren books? Did the publisher drop the series?
Answer: Answer: No, the publisher did not drop this series. I bought my way out of the last contract because I wanted more freedom creatively, which includes everything from the direction of future stories to the packaging of the books. There were other business reasons, and my time became such that I was unable to write this book earlier in the year when I originally intended to. This would have pushed the release of the next installment into 2013. By going independent, I can write the stories in my heart, package them how I believe they should be, and still give you EMBRACE ME AT DAWN sometime in May 2012. For anyone concerned that self-published means poor quality, not for me. I will still have editing and lots of eyes on the book to make sure the finished product top notch. I’m really happy with this decision.
Question: Why so long between books in any given series?
Answer: Writing and editing a book is a time-consuming process. Juggling more than one series is a delicate balance, and I try my best to release both something in Wicked Lovers and Doomsday Brethren as often as I can. I promise I’m hard at work to give readers the next adventure as soon as possible!
Question: Will you ever write historical romances again?
Answer: I’m currently working on re-releasing my out-of-print historical titles. ONE WICKED NIGHT and STRICTLY SEDUCTION are now available in both print and electronic formats. STRICTLY FORBIDDEN will be released no later than summer 2012. I hope my medieval series, Brothers in Arms, will soon follow. I will continue to rerelease more of these previously published historical romances as time allows. Writing new original historicals is not in my plan currently, but I’ll never say never. Maybe a novella for Darius someday.
Question: I watched the book video for Decadent and I love that song. Who sings it?Answer: I don’t know who sings it, but a man named Dan Gautreau is the composer. I love the song too!
